Harry Potter Dumbledore Pocket Watch by Fossil: Rare and Fantastic!, February 27, 2012 By This review is from: Dumbledores Pocket watch Harry Potter Fossil Li2035 (Watch) So, someone described this watch as a design flaw because the planets don't float around the inside of the watch case as described in the book?? LOL yeah, and my Harry Potter wand won't open unlock and open doors and make things float either, must be another design flaw, LOL. In fact this is an actual solid working pocket watch and the 12 planets are the hour indices so its a good thing they don't move around. With 12 hands that spin,:"two gold hands tell time true" this product by Fossil is one of the all time greatest and highly sought after limited edition Harry Potter collectibles. The solid hardwood box with Hogwart emblem is a beautiful display case for the watch. The velvet case keeps it protected and is just plain COOL. Awesome from top to bottom. A must have for true Harry Potter collectors, but the new ones are outrageously expensive especially in working orders and used ones are hard to get because few people are willing to give them up. It isn't Dumbledore's watch ..., February 10, 2012 This review is from: Dumbledores Pocket watch Harry Potter Fossil Li2035 (Watch) Dumbledore's watch should have Planets around the outside edge that move, but no numbers. It should have 12 hands - some, all or none of which move, as movement of the hands was not specified in the story.
This watch has fixed planets and moving hands. It is a design fail.
