nice watch, June 15, 2010 By matt (BELCHERTOWN, MASSACHUSETTS, US) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Fossil Dress Stainless Steel Watch - Brown (Watch) i gave this watch four stars only because i just received and have no idea how it will hold up, however this watch feels SOLID. it feels like its built tough, i dont feel that the brown coating will wear off too easily, and if it does it will only enhance the look of this watch. as to what the other reviewer stated about it being slow, his may have been a lemon or there all like that, but of your like me it wont really bother you. just because its 60 bucks doesnt mean that its not nice, go to fossils website and look at the photos there, the one here on amazon does not do it justice, this watch looks like its worth 3-4 times what you pay for it. bottom line...this is a nice classy watch for the price. you wont be disappointed.

FS4472 Watch is slow., April 28, 2010 This review is from: Fossil Dress Stainless Steel Watch - Brown (Watch) This watch is slow. It loses a full minute every few weeks. You may think this is small, but it adds up and gets very annoying. Its quartz for crying out loud, thats old technology. When I buy a watch its so that it will keep time well, and this watch fails at it. (Also the brown coat is getting scraped away - but thats probably my fault . . . .
Edit: It has been about 2-3 years and the minute hand became loose. It just goes off flopping around no matter what time it is.
tl;dr; This watch broke after only 2-3 years. I was hoping it would last longer. Demoted to only 1 star.
