The movement is chrome plated. I would have prefered a duller engraved plate but oh well! Also te movement i made in China which isnt really a problem since it is fossil but I would prefered a stateside or swiss maker.

It is gorgeous and has a 11 year (basically no questions asked) warranty. It fits comfortably and I am constantly getting compliments on it from other people.
I have dropped one of my fossil watches onto tile floor on accident and the face shattered. Sent it in and they fixed it free of charge within a week..... That is what I'm talking about!

If you don't wear the watch every day, it is easy to get it started with a few turns. The watch has a Chinese movement, that is not clearly stated, but it runs fine so far, keeps good time as well. This watch is not battery run at all, some of the lesser Fossil models have an automatic feature but require a battery as well for some of their functions. I like the no battery feature. I've had the watch for a few weeks, no regrets, and it looks great on the wrist.
